Ordered some bed sheets for a tippee project at home, and didn't arrive by the estimated date. Nothing on Yodel tracking so I called Customer Services and they said they may have been lost in transit. They offered a replacement for after the deadline so I declined. I went back on to George.com and these items were out of stock. I queried with Customer Services about the availability, as she said she could order a replacement, but she kept telling me she's issued a refund now and refused to answer my question, then hung up. I called back. I desperately needed these sheets and wanted to find out if there was stock available in another colour, but I got the same person on the call and so I asked to speak with a manager. She hung up on me again. Lastly I called again, eventually I got a manager. The refund has now been issued but no order and bad customer services has put me off using this company again.
I bought a Moses Basket Stand for my baby towards the end of June. It arrived with pieces missing so I returned. I received another one damaged and with even more pieces missing. I have gone back and forth with Asda/George to try and get a resolution. They’ve verbally agreed a refund but I’ve had nothing in writing. I’m massively disappointed with Asda’s service. I’ve contacted them via phone 3 times, email once (to which I received an auto response that due to covid they’re not replying - helpful) and via Twitter. After this I actually want to abandon Asda entirely despite them being my closest supermarket. I would rather drive the extra miles and take my business elsewhere. Disappointing Asda. Very disappointing. Especially considering this is an item for a tiny newborn baby!
I posted this review on the product on their website and I received an email saying the review had been ‘moderated’. They basically refused to post it as it’s negative. How lovely! Just avoid! I re-ordered the item elsewhere and it arrived boxed and perfect! The one from Asda arrived wrapped in plastic with no box.

Purchased lingerie from burgh Heath store, set fitted perfect another set exact same size couldn’t even do them up but because I had removed tags unable to return so ended up in the bin :(

Terrible customer service, item arrived not as ordered. Said that it has been changed online for this specific… it hasn’t it’s still available now. Apparently unable to exchange for different size
Total disgrace! So upset been waiting on a refund for weeks and keep getting lied to its on its way!!! Taking you to small claims court asda!!!! Disgusting how you treat customers. Its basically theft making me return goods and emailing me saying I'll receive my refund and not sending the money to me !!!! Theft !!!
I ordered a ladder for my granddaughters trampoline on 22/03/2021, I have received emails to track my package, but the codes they give do not work. I even received an email asking me to review my item, that I hadn't received. I rung today, nearly a month after the order was placed, to be told the item is out of stock. Asda never informed me of this, and never offered a refund, explanation or apology. Disgusting service for a company of this reputation and size.
Hate leaving reviews but the service online is so poor.
Ordered for click and collect, order was delayed by 2 weeks, was told that my order was lost and I’d be refunded due to products being out of stock. I accepted this and was fine, then I realised I’d been charged twice for the same order, contacted “customer service” again, they then told me my order had been shipped 2 weeks late and I’d receive it the next day. They couldn’t see the second charge so I had to raise it with my bank..... my bank confirmed they’d charged me twice but Asda didn’t care and didn’t want to provide any information on how to make a complaint
Their phone customer service is so poor, say they’ll phone back and never do.
If you want their products I’d buy in store as their online service is abysmal.
Order placed on 21.03.21 for some clothing to be delivered on 24.03.21.
My husband turned up at the store to be told they didn’t have my order in their system.
Called there overseas call centre!! Which also told me they could not find my order number so I had to send them proof!!
Taken my money, can’t tell me what’s going on.
I am so frustrated with George!
Just give my money back and I won’t shop with you online again.
I absolutely love Asda. I have at least 1 order a week I click and collect from my local Asda. Its always fast delivery. Items are always what I ordered and will continue to order feom Asda. Always a great price.

i really am loving the George Asda clothing these days. I think their clothing is of great quality and also at reasonable prices that are not too expensive! The baby clothes are of good quality and so lovely. Their online delivery was so smooth and quick- they're brilliant! All round fantastic, hope they keep it up!! :-)
Delivery didn’t arrive called customer services to ask where my delivery was to be told to wait 48hrs then when I explained I had taken time of work for this delivery I was told to take another 48hrs off and they are the exact words used!!!
I recommend if you are a single parent and working don’t order from here! Absolutely disgusting!!!

An unflexible and uncooperative retailer...
If they took the reviews on board of previous purchasers of the same product then they wouldn’t have issues relating to the items breaking in transit, but what do you expect when you just wrap them in a bit of bubble wrap and a plastic mailing bag...
The products are sold as a set of three online and used to be available individually Instore. However they are unable to refund just one and they are now out of stock everywhere, if the company were flexible and cared about the environment they would find a way to refund just the one.
They then send a copy and paste email saying I hope you’re satisfied with our response, no, far from it. Work for your customers...
Avoid. Returned orders and they have failed to refund. Been chasing on twitter and called
Promised refunds promised call backs
And still they are holding My money
Their computer system is hiddious along with their customer service
You have to break you English up as they are based abroad
